Written in the Stars: The Story Behind The Celestial Collection

At INSÉRIF, we’ve always loved reading our own horoscopes.

We remember whenever our parents would get a weekend newspaper when we were younger, we’d flick straight to the horoscopes to see what Sagittarius had in store for the next week.

We love the idea that everything is meant to happen for a reason and live by the mantra, “what’s meant for you won’t miss you.”

As our signs are so personal to us, it felt like the perfect next step for our first personalised stamps to be linked to the zodiac and the universe. When designing The Celestial Collection, we wanted the stamps to feel elevated and luxe, referencing motifs found within astrology.

It was important for the symbols to feel as elegant as our monogramming, so sizing took a while to master. We find it easiest to visualise by physically making mock-ups, so there were lots of printed paper symbols cut up until we found the perfect size.

We’re really excited to get The Celestial Collection out into the world and hope you love it as much as we do.
