Our Story

INSÉRIF was founded in the UK by husband and wife team Lizzie and Liam. The idea began when Liam was searching for a personalized gift and struggled to find something that felt both meaningful and well made. Too often, personalisation felt like an afterthought, or something charged as an extra.

They saw an opportunity to do things differently: creating thoughtfully made pieces with timeless design, quality materials, and complimentary personalization at the heart of every product.

The name INSÉRIF combines two ideas central to the brand: insert - adding something personal and serif - the small detail that finishes a letterform in typography. Together, they reflect the belief that it's the personal details that make a piece truly yours.
What started as a personal gesture has grown into a global brand, proudly featured in VOGUE, GQ, Vanity Fair and Sheerluxe. Today, their focus remains the same: creating thoughtful, personalized pieces designed to be valued for years to come.
